Warning Description: Heat Advisory

Warning Date: 9:46 PM CDT on July 3, 2009

WarningSum:...Heat Advisory Remains In Effect Until 9 Pm Cdt Saturday...

Warning Message:A heat advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CDT Saturday. 
High temperatures Saturday afternoon will again reach the century
mark across the four state region. When combined with a humid
airmass...afternoon heat indices around 105 degrees are expected.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids...stay in air
conditioned rooms as much as possible. Stay out of the sun as
much as you can...and check on relatives and neighbors. Do not
Forget your pets...they need water and shade as well.
